Frequently asked questions
Everything you might want to know about ChronoSphere — what it is, where the data comes from, and how to get involved.
ChronoSphere is a live analytics platform for the ChronoStory gamemode on MapleStory Worlds. It provides real-time character rankings, class and meta analytics, per-zone training intelligence, and a live channel population board, all updated continuously as the world is scanned.
No. ChronoSphere is an independent, community-built fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the makers of ChronoStory or MapleStory Worlds. All game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Yes. ChronoSphere is completely free to use. It's a community project with no paywalls on its rankings, analytics, zone guides, or channel board.
ChronoSphere records publicly observable activity in ChronoStory — the same information any player can see in-game — and stores each sighting with a timestamp and location. Those sightings are aggregated into rankings, analytics, and zone and channel intelligence.
The board is live. New sightings continuously refresh the leaderboard, channel activity, and zone intelligence, so the data reflects the state of the world in near real time. Every data point is timestamped to the moment it was observed.
No. ChronoSphere never modifies, alters, or interferes with ChronoStory in any way. It only surfaces publicly observable information and presents it as an analytics layer on top of what is already visible to players.
A character only appears once it has been sighted at least once during scanning. If a character hasn't been seen recently, or plays at times or in places that aren't covered yet, it may not yet appear. Coverage continually expands as more of the world is scanned.
Accounts are on the roadmap. A planned feature will let you create an account to favourite characters, build watchlists that notify you when they change, and follow the zones you care about. Check the changelog for the latest status.
